Husque

Husque expresses Marc's motivations in design; it’s a native resource, its recycling a waste material and it’s internationally identified as uniquely Australian. The macadamia nut is native to the East Coast of Australia and has been known to indigenous Australians as Bauple Nut, Burrawang and Kindal Kindal.

Australia is still the largest producer of macadamia nuts, supplying up to 43.000 tonnes of macadamia nut shell per year.

Husque is spelt with QUE as this is the first 3 letters of Queensland where the nut was botanically referenced in 1857.
